The Tallest Atlas Mountain Challenge!

At 4,167m Toubkal is the tallest Atlas Mountain of North Africa. This trek is ideal for those wanting to start multi-day treking and to experience the first taste of altitude, whilst still being an exciting challenge for the more experienced trekkers! It is suited to all levels of adventurous trekker, rewarding their intrepid nature with the scenic splendour. It is remote, barren and absolutely stunning – not one to miss!

Brief itinerary

  • Day 1 – Depart the U.K for Morocco and transfer to our hotel in the village Imlil at the foot of the Atlas Mountains for an acclimatisation walk and briefing.
  • Day 2 – Trek from Imlil (1740m) to Neltner refuge (3210m) – our base for the next two nights.
  • Day 3 – Set off from Neltner refuge to achieve our challenge goal, the summit of Toubkal at 4617m the highest Atlas mountain. Then return triumphant back to the Neltner refuge for well-deserved rest.
  • Day 4 – Trek from Neltner refuge to Aroumd village and then transfer to our hotel in Marrakech for a celebratory dinner.
  • Day 5 – Transfer to the airport for our flight back to the UK, arriving home the same day.
