Training Weekends

Our expedition training events are a great way to develop the skills and stamina you will need to take on one of our big  challenges. Our training weekends also pose a great opportunity to meet the team and catch up with other like minded people who will be accompanying you on your adventure.

Taking place in locations across the UK, our training weekeds take advantage of the great British national parks, whether that be working your way up Helvellyn from Patterdale, or navigating Devils kitchen up onto the Glyders in Snowdonia!

Our training weekends are organised in a way that is both accessible for all yet poses a challenge regardless of ability!

Our training starts on the Friday evening with a slide show of your destination. Saturday is a full day in the mountains taking full advantage of the beauty of the mountains. After a shower and a good meal we hold a Q&A session where you can quiz your guides on subjects such as clothing, altitude acclimatisation, packing lists and medical issues. After breakfast on the Sunday we will have a short walk of 3-4 hours to loosen the legs and improve your stamina, making the most of the local hills before heading home around 14:00.

All meals and packed lunches are prepared by our own chef who is able to cater for any dietary needs. Accomodation is normally a bunkhouse so all that you need to bring is your walking gear and a sleeping bag. Prices start from £95.
